"As I was turning 40 years old the idea came to me. The opportunity appeared when my aunt retired from her farm. I decided to start there in January of 2023 with Kintoa pigs. I chose this breed of pigs which is well adapted to my farm with 15 hectares of prairie, ferns and forest.
The Kintoa pigs have to be able to enjoy free range. This is, for me, the most natural and healthy method of ranching for the well-being of these animals."
Bettan Pribat is a souletin farmer who operates the Arrondoa farm since 2023 to create products of exceptional quality. A butcher by training, from a family of ranchers, he uses his expertise and the qualities of souletin land to defend a respectful and ecological farm.
